  Good location on canal near bridge to Houghton - hotel was spotless - my room overlooked canal - management went out of its way to accommodate my request for smoke-free room by trying to freshen room - was also helpful with area directions - food quality needed improvement - disposable dishes used for breakfast - servers were very pleasant - Aug 2005
